Self Isolation Indie Film Hit List

The world is crazy at the minute, totally bat shit crazy in fact. Whether or not you agree with your Government’s policies on how they handling it, we all know that staying in and keeping safe is the safest way to keep healthy. However, even if you are like me and usually hate to venture outside and speak to people, or if you are a social butterfly that has had their wings clipped you are going to need something to stop you re-enacting The Shining on your loved ones.

So we reached out on Twitter to compile a list of Indie Films to keep you occupied during the next few days/weeks/months/years (delete as applicable). We will continue to add to the list so hopefully we can alleviate some of your boredom, while helping Indie Directors get their films seen.

Also if you want to help us too you can buy one of our awesome Support Indie Film T-Shirts any profit is given back to supporting indie film projects, so look awesome and feel awesome too!!!

Multiplex 10

Multiplex 10 is an animated web series about a schlock-loving movie theatre usher named Kurt and a film snob named Jason who have come to realise they have a little common ground in their shared — but very different — love of film.

Their story began with Multiplex 10: The Animated Short, which was released in January 2018, and continued in Multiplex 10: The Web Series the same month. While these web series episodes are set after the events of the short film, they are standalone comedic shorts. A companion series called Multiplex 10 Movie Minutes debuted in May 2018, featuring spoiler-free, animated movie reviews by the Multiplex 10 staff.

Multiplex 10 is based on the comic strip Multiplex, which chronicled the lives of the staff of a movie theatre over the course of twelve years — but this animated version is part reboot and part prequel. While fans of the comic will love seeing these characters brought to life, Multiplex 10 will also appeal to movie lovers, anyone who’s ever worked a minimum wage job, and anyone who’s had an annoying friend who just can’t shut up about why the things you like are terrible.
