Grimmfest 2018 to Honour Horror Queen Barbara Crampton at 10th Anniversary and announces All Woman Jury
As Halloween edges closer the annual Grimmfest celebrates it’s 10th anniversary from 4th-7th October at the Odeon Manchester Great Northern, and at the event it will honour Barbara Crampton with a lifetime achievement award, sponsored by the Horror Channel.
Starring in such cult classics as From Beyond and Re-Animator, she has recently starred in Sun Choke, Beyond the Gates and You’re Next, along with others. The award will be a testament to her contributions to the Horror genre and the joy she has brought her fans over the years. Along with this they have also announced that this year the film jury will be all female, helping to break the myth that Horror is a male-centric genre.
